1. Who we are

MacLane Power Washing LLC (“MacLane,” “we,” “us”) provides residential and commercial exterior cleaning services in Fairfield County, Connecticut. These terms apply to this website and to services you book with us.

2. Quotes and pricing

Quotes are free and are based on the information you give us and, where needed, a look at the property. A written quote is a fixed price for the work described in it. If we find something unexpected on site, we will talk to you before doing any additional work, and we will not charge for work you did not approve.

Promotional offers (for example, a first-cleaning discount) apply to new customers, one per household, and must be mentioned when the quote is requested. Offers cannot be combined and may be changed or withdrawn at any time. The holiday lighting October-install discount applies to installs scheduled in October with takedown in January.

3. Plans

Recurring plans are priced for your specific property and confirmed in writing before the first visit. You are billed per visit after the work is done. You may pause, change, or cancel a plan at any time by contacting us before the next scheduled visit. Plan pricing shown on the website is a typical range and is not a quote.

4. Scheduling and access

We schedule by phone or email and confirm before we arrive. Exterior work generally does not require you to be home, but we need access to an outdoor water spigot, the areas being cleaned, and, for some jobs, the driveway. Interior window cleaning requires someone to be home. Weather can move jobs; we will let you know as early as we can.

5. Your responsibilities

Please tell us about anything that affects the work: failing paint or caulk, loose siding, cracked glass, damaged screens, leaking windows, unsealed outlets, pets, irrigation timers, and any surface you do not want treated. Close windows and doors, move vehicles and outdoor furniture where practical, and keep pets and children away from work areas until surfaces are dry.

6. Methods, results, and limitations

We match the cleaning method to the surface: low-pressure soft washing for siding, roofs, and painted surfaces, appropriate pressure for stone and concrete, and hand work for glass. Cleaning removes organic growth and dirt; it does not repair worn, oxidized, or previously damaged surfaces, and some stains (rust, oil, mineral deposits, artillery fungus, oxidation) may not be fully removable. Moss and lichen on roofs may take several weeks of weather to release after treatment. Pre-existing conditions such as failing seals, loose glazing, or deteriorated paint may become more visible after cleaning; we are not responsible for damage caused by such conditions.

7. Payment

Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept the payment methods listed on your invoice. Overdue balances may be subject to a late fee as stated on the invoice.

8. Insurance and liability

MacLane Power Washing LLC carries general liability insurance; a certificate is available on request. If you believe our work caused damage, tell us within 48 hours so we can look at it. Our liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the service in question, except where the law does not allow that limitation.

9. Website use

Content on this site, including photos and video of our work, belongs to MacLane and may not be reused without permission. The site is provided as is; we try to keep it accurate but do not guarantee it is error-free. Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience only.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut. Any dispute will be handled in the state courts located in Fairfield County, Connecticut.

11. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continued use of the site or our services after a change means you accept the updated terms.
